Pakistan and Bangladesh meet in Tri-nation opener today

Triangular cricket series is beginning here today and the inaugural match will be played between Pakistan and hosts Bangladesh.

This match will be telecast live by Geo Super from the Sher-e-Bangal Stadium, Mirpur.

Pakistan team is favourite for the opening match but captain Shoaib Malik and coach Geoff Lawson said that Bangladesh team cannot be taken easily and it can make an upset any time.

Shoaib Malik said that the young Pakistani fast bowlers are capable to fill the gap created by Mohammad Asif’s absence.

He said that the team would make its best efforts to continue its winning streak.

Pakistan have previously won 11 One-day Internationals.

India, the third team of the tournament, will play their first match of the event against Pakistan on Tuesday.
