Pakistan Announce Squad For Tri-Series

Mohammad Yousuf has been named in Pakistan's 16-man squad for the triangular one-day series in Bangladesh this month.

The senior batsman has been recalled after being left out of recent Twenty20 events and rested for part of a series against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
"We have picked the best possible squad for what would be a tough tournament," said chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed.
"We have also picked a few young players to give them exposure."
Left-arm paceman Wahab Riaz and batsman Nomanullah, who made their one-day debuts recently, have been given the nod for the tournament beginning on June 8 against India and hosts Bangladesh.
Unprecedented experience
Meanwhile, fellow squad member Younis Khan has signed with South Australia as their marquee player for part of the 2008-09 Australian cricket season.
The star batsman, who has scored 4,816 runs in 58 Tests for Pakistan, is expected to arrive Down Under in time for the start of the Australian domestic season in October.
"Younis is currently one of the world's best batsmen," said South Australian coach Mark Sorell.
"Recruiting him is an important step in our recruiting strategy and an opportunity that presents itself as too good to miss.
"Securing a batsman of Younis' calibre will provide our young South Australian batsmen with unprecedented experience, and our top order are really excited by the news."
The South Australian Cricket Association said that Younis will play for the club until Christmas and then possibly return to South Australia for the finals of the domestic competitions.
Officials said his commitments with South Australia would not interfere with his playing commitments with Pakistan.
